I remember looking at the old ship chart back when I started playing, and just realised recently that it hadn't been updated yet. So I decided to take it upon myself to compile a new one with the Trinity expansion graphics.
Eve Online Ship Chart - Quantum Rise Edition
I am planning to make a sub-capital version of the chart too, with all the pirate/faction ships on it at a larger scale. I'll update this post with a link once it's done.
As always any donations would be appreciated.
P.S. I'm not really sure if it's the right forum, but hey, it's probably the first place I'd look for it.

Cheers guys
I'm not 100% sure on the scaling of the ships, but that's the size of the models in the game files. I'd be interested in knowing from CCP if the 3D models are rescaled when they are rendered in-game, or if they are directly imported as the size they are?
Lord Regulus: Yes I used TriExporter, and hours worth of converting models, textures and setting up shaders.

Thanks for the comments everyone. And it's nice to see I got a Dev seal of approval, thanks Mitnal
Now that I know how to find the actual RGB codes for the ship shaders I was able to modify the Gallente colours so they're the same as the in-game colours.
Eve Online Ship Chart - Quantum Rise Edition The new version is in a zip file because for some reason EVE Files kept giving me an error when I would try to upload the .jpg file. Anyone have any idea why this would be happening? Is it just that the .jpg file resolution is to big?
I haven't had a lot of time to work on the sub-cap chart lately, but it will get done... eventually.
And no I am not going to add in every single possible T3 ship combination I might put in one of each variation though. So a total of 3 T3 cruiser variations for each race for now.
BTW, this is the actual in-game scale of the ships. For all those who don't think it is, go park a Rifter right next to a Megathron and you'll see what I mean.

Originally by: BladeRunner777 fantstic, but i have to say, i do thing the cardari ships are a bit to blue, they are more dark gray i think. still amazing work
I've actually found how to get all the RGB colour codes now, so I'm going back and re-working all the textures. So yes the caldari are probably a bit blue, but that will be fixed soon

I will so get this printed
I've had a couple of requests of this nature already, so I will be releasing a psd and/or tiff version that will be uncompressed so it'll be primo for printing
I might release another version as well with a transparent background, just in-case someone wants to make a re-shuffled version of it.
And if anyone has an eve related directory or something that they don't mind having this hosted at would be awesome, if you do could you send me a mail in game please. Otherwise it'll just be going up on eve-files (thanks Chribba)
Also the new version of this will be posted in the MyEve forum (as well as here) when its done.

I've now updated the shipchart to include all the faction ships and unique NPC hulls including Jove, SOCT, Sleeper and Talocan ships. I have also corrected all the ships textures to have accurate colours.
EVE Online Shipchart - Apocrypha Edition (WARNING - Large image, aprox. 5mb)
I will be releasing a .psd version soon for anyone who wants to get this printed. As for the sub-capital edition of the shipchart, that will be put on hold for now as I may have a couple of other options that will turn out a lot cooler.

Originally by: Anddeh McNab I hate to nitpick and I'm sure it's been pointed out before but the Mael is ~1400m long and the Niddy is ~4000m, thus should be just under 3 times longer yet the image shows them approximately the same. Well Mael is shorter, but not by much :/
lol, it is to. I know what I mixed up though, niddy is 2047m, not 4027m. I must've typed the 2 and the 4 in the wrong order
nice spotting though, I don't think it's been pointed out before, I think I'll have a careful check over all the names and dimensions tonight to make sure I haven't messed anything else up.

UPDATE: The chart now has corrected ship dimensions and Strategic Cruisers. I have put 4 variations of each strat cruiser, each with different subsystems (inculding the new 4th subsystems). There are also a few other various tweaks.
Use the "Alternate Imageshack Download" link for now until I get EVE-Files to upload the new version.

Originally by: Alexis Boniface So, I heard a rumor that you were going to do a sub-capital version (for those of us who want to actually see the frigates)...
Is that at all true?
Alexis
Yes it's true, at some point in the future I will make a sub cap version, and probably at an aspect ratio that will make it good for wallpapers. Can't promise when it will be done though.
Originally by: Cors I'd LOVE that. The current one is beautiful. I've got a 1m X .5m one on my wall, and even at that size, you can't make our any real detail below a BS.
Nice I've seen another person with a printed version of the chart.
I also released a .psd version of the chart not too long ago that should be good for printing, and I've just updated the original post here with a link to the .psd

From what I can tell the only difference between the two is there's no jpeg corruption on the psd version. The psd should be just as sharp as the jpg, the jpg is taken straight from the psd after all.
And the subcap chart is on the way, however it will get done when it gets done, I'm not currently playing eve and I'm busy with school stuff. So the shipchart currently has a much lower priority than everything else. I'm also waiting for the new fighter bomber models to show up on the Singularity client so I can extract them, I currently only have the Gallente and Caldari bombers. The size of the ships on the subcap chart is about 3x bigger than the current chart. With no capitals at all.

As promised here is the sub-capital chart at a bigger scale. Now you can actually distinguish the difference between the frigates. It also includes the Fighters and soon-to-be-released Fighter Bombers.

Originally by: Footoo Rama i think you may have the itty's wrong... The itty 4 is not the smallest.
It is actually the shortest, I've flown one myself many times and can confirm that.
Originally by: Nai Weil Ohh, I see the Lynx too! I always wondered what ship it was after reading Empyrean Age. Is there any way we can view that ingame?
Open this page in the IGB and you can click on the links to open the ships "show info" page (and open the ship preview window): http://eve.rootdir.org/f-ships.html

Just a quick shipchart update, I worked out there is a flaw in my dimensions, they are actually half what the chart currently lists. So a Megathron is not 1006 meters long, it is actually 503 meters long. In the next version I will correct all the dimensions, add the Zephyr and possibly improve the shaders.
Originally by: Jagga Spikes nice :) tho, Amarr letter color has poor contrast. could use outline or different background. maybe use same letter color for all factions, but change background color.
Bustard (Caldari Deep Space transport) seems to be missing. model looks similar to Badger Mk II, but is longer.
Yep, I intend to go back and change the background of the sub-cap chart. That should fix the contrast issue. Also, the Bustard is (as you said) a modified Badger II hull, hence I won't include it on these versions of the shipchart.

Originally by: Jagga Spikes i just measured Megathron, using two minmatar shuttles at each end. to reduce perspective error i used minimum FOV. distance between shuttles was 857m. however, distance at which they show to be at 0 is about 150m (assuming, shuttle size is 24m). so, megathron at 1000m can't be bad call.
why would you think there is flaw in your chart?
edit: Megathron length
Thanks for that screenshot, I think I might do some measuring in game myself. I took the dimensions from the in-game 3D models, but I believe I made a scaling error when importing them. I will probably base the dimensions off the pilots in the fighter drones, that seems to be the best reference to real-world dimensions. After checking the size of the pilots I realised they were twice the size of a normal person, I therefore believe I need to halve the size of the imported ships, resulting in a 503m Megathron.
